We offer hunters the chance to experience big game hunting in Northwest Colorado. We limit the number of hunter for each season, keeping the hunting pressure low for our hunters. We are offering a drop camp unguided wilderness hunt to those individuals looking for a more "Do it yourself" hunting experience. You will have the opportunity to hunt on 5,000 acres of special permit BLM, which is accessible to a very limited number of hunters. The camps are located near Meeker Colorado in the Hart of Elk county.All hunts are for wild, free range Elk and are booked on a first come basis.we can also provide a private ranch hunt that is fully guided With meals and lodging ,call for price and availability

Pricing Details

Pricing Details Combined hunts are available for Mule Deer and Elk,if Deer tags are drawn Combined hunts will cost $3500.00 per person for the drop camps. All other hunts are Elk only.

Archery (First 5 days, or later

• 5 Day Drop Camp (minimum 2 hunters)
• Unguided hunt $2,500
• Accommodations can be made for 6 hunters upon request

Rifle (First, and Second Season)

• 5 Day Drop Camp (minimum 2 hunters)
• Unguided hunt $2,500
• Accommodations can be made for 6 hunters upon request

Muzzleloader (First 5 days)

• 5 Day Drop Camp (minimum 4 hunters)
• Unguided hunt $2,500
• Accommodations can be made for 6 hunters upon request

Drop Camp Provisions 

• Wall Tent
• Camp Stove and Wood
• Cookware and Utensils
• Water Tank
• Cots (without bedding)
• Lighting (lanterns)

We will provide all pack in and pack out services for you, your gear, and game. Prices listed are for Elk only ,additional charges for mule deer combo hunts Call for prices .

Terms & Conditions

Payment and Deposit

All hunts are Cash or Check. Credit card will not be accepted.

50% of your payment will be due at booking and time of contract. The remaining sum will be due upon arrival.

If hunters do not draw tags for their season, a full refund will be issued.Hunters can also alternate to the next available season, if they choose to do so. The deposit will transfer to the new hunt at that time.

Any cancellations will not be eligible for a refund. The hunter will be allowed to alternate to the next open season if they so choose. The deposit will transfer to the new hunt at that time.
