Description

Cast for big pike in the depths of the back bays, or find them hiding along the islands and channels. Topwater and bait rigs are great in early season. Anglers switch to spinner and spoons in June. Summer months see a variety of lures being tossed out for hungry pike, from large silver spoons to huge crank baits.

Winnipeg River Walleye are spread out between creeks mouths and fast current locations in the early spring. The fish then migrate to reefs and points in that spring. Once the weed beds are up in mid-summer the fish can also be found chasing perch and other bait fish. Spinner and jigs with dead minnows as bait seem to work best for walleyes.

Smallmouth bass start hitting on the shorelines and back bays, and then move deeper and by fall they're on points in the main river channel. Topwaters are great early in the year, then switch to diving crank baits in summer and to jigs and artificial baits or crawlers in the fall.

Ice Fishing Packages:

Three night / two day excursions, $450.00 per person. Two night / One full day and on half day excursions, $375.00 per person.

One Day Ice Fishing Trips:

These packages will be available for trips into George or Forbes lake for Lake Trout, or for fishing the Winnipeg River for monster pike.

The day trip costs are $450.00 per two persons. Each additional person is $100.00 per day extra.

Guides & Charters

GUIDE SERVICE - (CDN FUNDS) $450.00/day - 2 persons Each additional person - $75 per day Includes: all fuel, boat, guide, shore lunch.

CHARTER BOAT RENTAL (CDN FUNDS) Rates: $750.00 per day for up to four persons 28' long x 10' wide custom charter boat Includes: all fuel, all bait, any required tackle, rods, reels, etc. and shore lunch. Each additional person (over 4 persons) - $100 per day.

Experience the first charter service in southern Manitoba for groups up to 12. The boat can comfortably fish up to 8 customers with seating for 16 in total
