Elk hunting in the trophy producing famous Gila National Forest. Weapons used include muzzleloader, rifle and bow. Using top of the line optics and experienced guides gives you the best chance possible of connecting with a trophy elk. Put in for the NM draw with Big Rim Outfitters and up your chances of success of drawing a tag. If you want a guaranteed permit, we are able to get our hands on a few landowner tags in the best areas. This is some of the most rugged, big country and requires a person to be in good physical condition. 2019 we were 100% kill on our elk hunts. Pretty good size average too! Give us a call!

Pricing Details

If you draw a tag, the hunt cost is $8,500 plus NM tax of 7% for 2024. License cost is extra. If we provide a landowner tag, the cost is $13,000 plus NM tax of 7% for 2024. The current cost of the hunt will listed on our website at the beginning of each year. (url removed) License cost is extra. Stripe payment is available however, they charge a fee of 3% on top of the payment.

Terms & Conditions

Deposit is required only after you have successfully drawn a tag or opted for a landowner tag. $2000 deposit is then required. Hunt cost would be refunded upon rebooking of the spot.
