Description

This is a true mountain hunt, private wilderness land exclusively. This hunt will suit those that are not on a tight budget and want the best mountain hunting experience they can afford. Unlike many other hunts in New Zealand you will have an entire vast valley to hunt together, 2 hunters. Be it staying up in one of the many mountain cabins back packing out of there or out of the hunting lodge each day the choice is yours. Hunters must be in the reasonable mountain shape, and be capable of making accurate shots 250-400 yards. This is all inclusive.

What to Expect

This is a 6 day hunt for 2 hunters including 2 mature Bull Tahr, and rifle rental if required. Pick up drop off Christchurch Airport, South Island. This is a mountain hunt, no different than any North American sheep hunt except better, its on vast areas of private mountain range, based around hunting mature trophy Bull Tahr.

Gear & Equipment

A full gear list will be provided, High quality mountain boots are essential.

Weapon Details

Accurate rifle, with dial scope. All our rifles are fully suppressed and have dials on them. We only take ethical shots no long range hero stuff, you put a hole in it you own it.

$8500 per hunter all inclusive

Terms & Conditions

$3000 deposit upfront along with signed returned hunt contract. Dates will be discussed and pencilled in, we advise between late May-early July when the mature bulls are rutting and in full winter coats.

Camp/Accommodations

Hunters choice on where they would like to stay, Cabin on property or Hunting lodge. Some cabins do have gas shower, all have wood fire. Some we can drive our truck to.

Physical Requirements

Hunters must be in reasonable mountain shape, these are mountains not rolling hills.
