We have a limited amount of landowner Private Land Management (PLM) Mule Deer tags available to hunt on an approximate 3,000 acre ranch in Lassen County.
This can be a DIY or guided hunt, for an additional fee. Seasons are determined by California Fish & Wildlife but typically runs mid-September through late November.

Access to approximately 3,000 acres of private land and a longer season to hunt a mule deer that typically takes a high number of preference points to draw.
Pricing Details
DIY PLM Mule Deer Hunt: $6,500
- Includes access to ~3,000 acres of private land and deer tag
 
Guided PLM Mule Deer Hunt: $8,000
- Includes Scouting, Food, Lodging, & Transportation
 
Terms & Conditions
Payment Information
- Hunt dates are reserved once deposit is received
 
- 10% discount on guided hunts for active or retired military or law enforcement
 
- $150 per day for non-hunters on guided hunts
 
- Hunt Packages are non-refundable unless season is cancelled by California Fish and Wildlife
 
- Packages booked within 30 days of the hunt must be paid fully at the time of booking
 
- No credit cards. Cash, checks, or Venmo only
 
Cancellation Policy
- No rain checks unless schedule permits
 
- Cancelled hunts are not refunded, but a replacement may be found
 
Gratuities
- Customary, but not required
 
- Guides: 15-20% of the hunt price
 
- Cook: $50 per guest
 
Camp/Accommodations
- Includes Private Room, Bathroom, and access to common areas including kitchen and living room.
 
Permit & Tag Application Process
PLM tags can only be used on the PLM for which they are issued.
- The licensee shall require an unfilled deer tag or PLM voucher valid for the current license year in exchange for issuing a PLM deer tag to any hunter.
 
- No hunter shall take more than two deer each year anywhere in California on either public or private lands.
 
- No person shall take more than one buck deer in the X-zones, as defined in Section 360(b), Title 14, CCR.
