We offer premiere Sandhill Crane Hunts in the Lubbock, Texas region. All hunts take place within an hour driving distance of Lubbock. We pride ourselves on our 'quality over quantity' business model and customer service goals.

What to Expect

To book your hunt:

1. Contact by phone number (call/text: 940-550-4852) and give information about what you're looking for, group size, questions etc.
2. Once dates, guest numbers and details are ironed out there is a 50% required deposit to lock in your dates to prevents no-shows.
3. The week of your hunt you'll be contacted with meetup information and details, hunts last until 10:30 a.m or until limits are filled **Inclement weather may affect this, so stay in constant communication if necessary.
4. Bird processing is included in the price of your hunt, once birds are cleaned and bagged for your group on the last day of your hunt we will depart ways.

Gear & Equipment

Camo or dirt (khaki) colored clothes. Dress appropriately given the weather forecast coming up. Non-prescription glasses will not be allowed during the hunt due to their glare and effect on the bird hunting. Hunts will be out of a frame blinds feel free to bring a Camo blind bag and fill it with some snacks, breakfast or drinks for during the hunt.

Weapon Details

12 gauge & 20 gauge shotguns are the ideal weapons of choice. Modified or improved cylinder chokes are just find for these birds when carrying the right loads and shooting the birds feet down in the decoys the way God himself intended. Shot size recommended is #1 to #5, the idea is to get pellets into their head and avoid mangling the breast meat or not putting a solid kill shot on the birds.

4 man minimum $350 per person per day 3 man options available w/ a 2 day minimum. Corporate & large group prices available at discounted rates.

Terms & Conditions

50% deposit is required at time of booking to lock in your dates for all hunts. The deposit is non-refundable but if you can't make it for your hunt, communicate that and we will work together to reschedule your group and honor that deposit. This is not a guaranteed kill hunt, wild animals are just that; wild.
