


These fully-guided, Cabin based, Arctic Grizzly hunts are 1x1 or 2x1 spot and stalk trips. Clients will also have an option to shoot a bull caribou on a trophy fee of $5,500 and Wolves for $300 each. Ask Outfitter about custom pricing for more than one client per-guide groups.
Hunt is based out of our Basecamp in the eastern Brooks Range of the Alaskan Arctic. The camp consists of several trailer buildings, and large Quonset Huts. Clients will be eating home cooked meals 3 times per day. Each day, clients and their respective guide will leave base-camp and head out via walking or using one of our various ATVs to local glassing knobs in search of game.
Clients will have access to internet service, showers, deep-freezers to store meat and hides and bedroom accommodations (client can also "spike-out" in a tent if they wish as well with their guide)
Here is the list of items you are definitely going to need:
Rifle: At Least 300 Win or bigger, must be hunting with bonded bullets on Grizzly. 270 win or bigger should be used on Caribou 223 Rem or bigger should be used on Wolves Client understands the 1st shot on the Grizzlies will be under 250 yards. (most 1st shots are under 200) Caribou can be shot out to 400 yards if client can perform shot accurately Wolves can be shot out to 400 yards if client can perform shot accurately Client needs to be able to shoot a 3 round base-ball sized group at 200 yards Client needs to know what their bullets do when fired at targets at 300-500 yards as well. (this allows to do secondary shots on fleeing, wounded game)
Bow: At least 60# Draw, must be able to shoot 40 yards accurately (Note: The Arctic can have very windy days, this will greatly effect the ability to archery hunt) Bow-Hunters can also bring a firearm with then to hunt with as well. Bow Hunters most use "Cut-On-Contact" broadheads. Bow Hunters must be able to shoot a 3 arrow base ball sized group at 40 yards to be able to hunt with a bow.
Handgun: Must Be a 44 Magnum or bigger, client must also be able to shoot a 3 round base-ball sized group at 40 yards to be allowed to use the handgun. Client must use bonded bullets.
The clients guide is also allowed to do "back-up shots" on the wounded grizzlies if they see fit, per law.
Client may rent a firearm from the outfitter for the duration of the hunt for $300
Cost of hunt is $22,500 and covers One Grizzly, (Note: This is a draw hunt, and you must first draw the Grizzly permit before booking) Wolves can be Harvested for $300 per Wolf, Hunter will need a locking tag for each wolf harvested. (client must have locking tag(s) before coming into camp)

All additional terms and conditions will be listed in the hunt contract and liability waiver all clients must sighn before booking.
Cabin/Lodge Based Hunts with Showers, Internet, Home-cooked meals, ATVs, and beds
Client must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day.
Client must be able to carry 35# backpack
Client must be able to handle being cold, wet and miserable for days at a time.
