



KyrgyzTrout offers guided trout fishing trips on wild mountain rivers in the Tien Shan range, Kyrgyzstan. Your guide is Azamat - a lifelong angler who has fished these rivers for decades and makes his own handmade balsa lures under the name ZBS Craft.
Target species: Sevan trout (Salmo ischchan), Amu-Darya brown trout (Salmo trutta oxianus), and wild rainbow trout in gin-clear glacial water at 2,000–3,000 meters elevation. All methods welcome - fly fishing, spinning, ultralight. Small groups, maximum 4 anglers. Season: mid-July through early October. Visa-free for US, UK, EU citizens.
Three days fishing two different wild mountain rivers in the Tien Shan. Day 1: Chon-Kemin River. Day 2: Suusamyr River at 2,200m elevation. Day 3: second session on the best-performing river from days 1-2. Riverside camping or guesthouse accommodation. All meals included.
Ultralight spinning rods and handmade balsa lures provided on request. Clients are welcome to bring their own gear. Waders available on request.
$800/person for 3 days / 2 nights. Includes transport from Bishkek, guide, all meals, and guesthouse or riverside camping accommodation. Maximum 4 anglers. 30% deposit to confirm.
30% deposit required to confirm booking. Balance due 7 days before trip. Cancellations 14+ days before: full refund. Cancellations within 14 days: deposit non-refundable. In case of extreme weather or unsafe river conditions, trip will be rescheduled or fully refunded. Payment via bank transfer, cash (USD/EUR), or crypto.
Moderate fitness required. Trips involve walking along riverbanks and wading in moving water. Some camping on uneven terrain for overnight stays.
Fishing permits for foreign visitors are handled by the guide. No action required from the client prior to the trip.
