A 4-hour nighttime bowfishing trip on Lake Amon G. Carter starts at 8 PM as the summer heat fades and the lights come on across the water. Cruising shallow coves and cattail edges near Bowie, you'll stalk gar sliding just under the surface and carp pushing through the shallows. Fast shots, screaming reels, and plenty of laughs make for an action-packed night on the lake. Expect a mix of big gar, hard-fighting carp, and nonstop excitement under the Texas stars.
