Description

Spot-and-stalk hunt for Southeastern Spanish Ibex (Capra pyrenaica hispanica) on La Montosa, our own estate (registered hunting area CO-13054) in the Sierras Subbéticas, Córdoba, southern Spain. The area is a UNESCO Global Geopark of limestone mountains and olive groves.

Premium package, per hunter: 5 days / 4 nights with 3 hunting days, plus a 4x4 tour of the Subbéticas mountains. One hunter, one guide, and I guide every hunt personally. Direct from the estate, with no intermediaries.

Price by trophy category of the animal actually taken (VAT included):

• Representative: 5,200 EUR
• Bronze: 6,500 EUR
• Silver: 7,900 EUR
• Gold: 9,500 EUR

Included: guide, accommodation and meals, transfers, hunting licence and insurance, field preparation of the trophy, and the 4x4 tour.

Season: mid-October to mid-January. The best period is mid-October to late December, during the rut.

What to Expect

An honest word on trophies: we have males in every category, but medal-class males are scarce and hard to find. A representative male is the realistic expectation. Bronze and above are possible but not guaranteed, and the trophy fee is charged according to the animal actually taken. The extra hunting day gives you more chances to find a better male.

Terrain is steep limestone (karst) mountain, so a reasonable level of fitness helps. We glass from vantage points at first light and then stalk on foot. We communicate in English, by email or WhatsApp.

Deposit: 30 % to confirm the booking.

• A 30 % deposit confirms the booking. The balance is due before the hunt.
• The trophy fee is charged according to the category of the animal actually taken, not the one booked.
• A wounded animal that is not recovered is charged at the full trophy fee.
• Cancellation and bad-weather terms: please ask us before booking.

Camp/Accommodations

Accommodation in the town of Cabra, a few minutes from the hunting estate, with meals included. We pick you up at the airport (Córdoba, Granada or Málaga) and take care of all transfers during the hunt.
