Description

We offer amazing New Mexico wilderness pack-in trophy elk hunts. We hunt mainly in the Pecos Wilderness and the Carson National Forest. These world-class elk hunts are packed in over 10 miles into the wilderness on horseback. We then hunt off foot and horseback.

Mule Deer we typically hunt and glass off horseback and are very successful because of the native wild horses in the area. There are no weight limits on what you bring on this hunt because we have the ability to drive to camp rather than packing in horseback. Canvas wall tents are used during this hunt and the full home-cooked meals provided.

The hunter's weight limit needs not to exceed 230 lbs because of the use of horses during the hunt.

Elk Hunts

Price (1 on 1): $6,500 per hunter Price (2 on 1): $5,500 per hunter

• 5 day hunt (Muzzleloader/ Rifle)
• 6 day hunt (Archery)
• Northern NM pack in elk hunts are packed in 4 hours into the Pecos Wilderness to a wall tent camp where you will stay for the hunt. It is a high elevation hunt camp is at 10,500 ft elevation. Tons of elk.
• Southern NM elk hunts we generally stay in a cabin and drive to where we will be hunting and walk in or trailer horses and ride in for the day.

Mule Deer Hunts

Price: $4,500

• 5 day hunt

Bear Hunts

Price: $3,500

• 5 day hunt
• Bear hunts we use hounds to hunt them. We are mostly hunting off horseback on these hunts but we do also hunt out of the utv and pickup.

Lion Hunts

Price: $4,500

• 5 day hunt
• Lion hunts are done with hounds also pretty much the same as the bear hunts.
