Born and raised in the coastal mountain range of NW Oregon, I grew up in the outdoors. Hunting and fishing was life! I was chasing salmon and steelhead with my father as a child and then deer and elk by the time I was old enough to keep up ( well try to at least) waterfowl, pheasant, and grouse were also a staple! I started guiding for salmon and steelhead my senior year of high-school. And after a while I started guiding in AK for the summers. This turned into me being a captain on a charter vessel. Now I charter in AK for the summers and guide in OR the rest of the year that I'm not hunting.
