• Your Louisiana Inshore Fishing Charter Trip Includes rod and reels, gas, bait, fish cleaning services, ice and water. Please plan on bringing your own snacks. We can do half-day morning or afternoon trips.
If you have more than 5 anglers in your group, please contact us. We have multiple charter boats and captains and can accommodate larger groups.
Each person 18 years old and older will need to purchase a $20 three-day charter passenger license.
Plan on bringing a large ice chest, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, snacks, and sodas.
If you are doing the morning fishing trip, you will meet your Hook Dat Fishing Charter Captain around sunrise at the docks. The morning fishing trip will generally run about 5 to 6 hours and you will arrive back at the docks around noon. If you are doing the afternoon trip you will meet the captain at the docks by 2:30 PM and fish until sunset.
While fishing with the Hook Dat Fishing team you will travel the beautiful marsh bayous and inlets in style. Typical travel time by boat to the 1st fishing hole is anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on what species we are targeting. You may catch a variety of fish such as Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Flounder, Black Drum, Tripletail among others. Louisiana is one of the few places in the world where you can hook into a huge largemouth bass and a variety of saltwater species in the same spot. Louisiana's rich diversity of fish is due to the nutrients of the mighty Mississippi River flowing into nearby estuaries creating the unique conditions for a wide range of fish to thrive. When you arrive back at the docks your Fishing Charter Captain will clean and bag all of our days catch for you to take back with you.
If you are fishing multiple days, plan or meeting back up at the docks at the same time the next morning.

Cooper Landing
• The turquoise water of the upper Kenai River flows out of Kenai Lake in beautiful Cooper Landing. This non-motorized stretch of water is nestled between the peaks of the majestic Kenai Mountains in permitted areas of the Chugach National Forest. An excellent stretch of water for catch and release fishing for native Alaska rainbow trout and dolly varden char as well as seasonal opportunities to fish the legendary Kenai River Sockeye and Silver salmon runs. The abundant flora and fauna offer a glimpse of Alaska's natural beauty and wildlife sightings are common.
Kasilof
• The Kasilof River flows out of enormous Tustumena Lake and the silty glacial waters make their way approximately 20 miles into Cook Inlet. Fishing the Kasilof River by drift boat provides great opportunities for king salmon fishing without fighting the motor madness of the Lower Kenai. Kings average 20 to 30 pounds with 50+ pounders brought to hand every season. The two king runs are followed by strong runs of Silver Salmon and a late fall steelhead run. The salmon and steelhead fishing here can reward us with the spectacular fight of big fish on relatively small water.

Mendocino
• Northern California has an incredible array of sea life for those willing to venture into the cool waters. The rocky reefs and kelp forests we dive are unparalleled. In a single dive it is not uncommon to find lingcod, numerous species of rockfish, cabezon, greenling, surf perch, the occasional California halibut, CA sheephead, scallops, and an exceptional display of other creatures that aren't on the menu.
We guide spearfishing and general freediving tours along the North Coast of California, primarily in Humboldt, Mendocino, and Sonoma counties but we are always chasing the fish and conditions. Guests may choose shore-based dives or kayak.

We guide in the "North Coast" region of California, well known for its numerous trout streams. We offer several styles and durations of trout fishing trips – we can pack into the wilderness and fish alpine lakes and clear mountain creeks on a multi-day excursion, or target remote reaches of world class trout rivers that can be accessed from the road system, or even combine a touch of fishing with a backpacking or hunting trip.
We have permits to operate in the majority of the Trinity Alps, Marble Mountains and Russian Wilderness areas and vast chunks of the surrounding forest land, including the Shasta-Trinity, Six Rivers, and Klamath National Forests.
