Maine • We offer Maine bear hunting over bait based out of Grand Lake Stream, Maine. Our baits are extremely active. We bait seven days a week to hold the bears on our sites. Presently we are running around 90 bait sites. In many of the areas we hunt we have exclusive rights and leases, some on whole townships. Each week of the season we hunt a different area so you are always on a fresh bait site. Here at Laneys guide service you are not just a number. We take great pride in providing very personal and professional Maine bear hunting. I demand the best from my guides, and a 110% effort every day of the hunt is what you will get. Our guides are the best in Maine and do everything possible to provide you with a successful hunt. We take three to four hunters per guide, transport you to your stand, and pick you up at dark. Maine • Downeast Maine and Southern Aroostook County offer some of the finest grouse hunting and woodcock hunting in the Northeast. You can hunt over our dogs or bring your own. We only take a few hunters per day to give you the full experience and most opportunities for shots. The Grouse population depends on the weather we have in the springtime, but good gunning is always found and the shooting gets better as the month goes on, as the leaves begin to fall. We are located on the eastern side of Maine, so we receive great woodcock flight all season long. The season was recently extended to November 15th which gives us two more weeks of great gunning.

Maine • I'm very fortunate to live in an area with a lot of rabbits and thousands of acres of public access land to hunt on. If you have never hunted rabbits with dogs before it's a lot of fun and the action can be fast and furious. A rabbit going full out with a pack of dogs hot on his heels can be a hard target to hit. I provide transportation to and from the hunt by truck as long as the party isn't too large, or by snowmobile if the conditions warrant it. Fall rabbit hunting can be some of the most productive of the year. You do not have to be as concerned about the weather. The roads are more accessible and the bunny population is at its highest of the year.. Also you may be the only people hunting bunnies in the area. For safety reasons no more than 5 people.
