We also offer straight antelope hunts with both bow and rifle. Our success on both the bow and rifle is over 95% opportunity. All antelope hunts are guided 3x1 or 2x1. 1x1 guided hunts are available for an additional fee. We offer hunts in many areas that take 0-8 Antelope Preference points. These hunts offer a hunter opportunity at quality antelope. These hunts are offered from our lodge or motel. Our bow hunts are offered August 15-17. The method we use for hunting the antelope with a bow are blinds, set up over water holes. Bow hunters have excellent chances at Pope and Young quality antelope. Our rifle antelope hunts are hunted from October through the early November.
Trophy Mule DeerFrom $2,995 to $9,795
Wyoming • We hunt our mule deer in Campbell, Crook, Johnson, Bighorn, Washakie, Sheridan, and Fremont counties in Wyoming. We lease over 215,000 acres of private property and large NFS and wilderness permits. These areas hold excellent numbers of trophy-class animals. Rifle season runs mid-September through November 20th. Our hunts are fully guided five-day hunts, either 2x1 or 1x1. We use pickups, side-by-side UTVs, ATVs, and horses to access country. Some of the private leases are accessed with pickups and side-by-side UTVs. Some of our country is extremely rough. Some of these areas require a lot of hiking and horseback riding. The better a hunter is able to get around physically will help during the hunt. The mule deer hunt is a classic spot-and-stalk hunting.
Cross C Ranch
Mule Deer HuntsFrom $3,650 to $5,000
Wheatland • Our Wyoming mule deer hunting is the best it has ever been. We manage our herd each year for wide, deep forked bucks by offering management hunts to continually improve genetics. We control the hunting on virtually 100% of the 17,000 acre ranch, therefore we can have a greater impact on the quality and quantity of our deer. We limit our deer harvest to 10 animals. This allows for a genuine opportunity to kill a very nice buck. The hunting is all spot and stalk, greatly limiting the pressure on the deer. A 170 class deer is very common, with some 180+ deer taken each year. Our largest deer was 210+. Our success ratio is 100%. The typical shooting range is around 250-300 yards. All hunting is done with ATV's and 4-wheel drives. No personnel ATV's allowed. We can accommodate lots of types of mobility and any legal age groups.
