When you hunt with us, you will find that when it comes to evaluating game animals, planning stalks, judging distances, and the overall knowledge of the land and game, we are second to none. All my hunts are conducted from camp only and can accommodate groups of various sizes. On our camps hunts, I will furnish transportation to and from hunt area, accommodations, meals (home-style cooking and special diets), accompanied by an expert experienced guide, and trophy handling. You will provide your rifle or bow, ammunition, personal gear, and your license. Upon request I can send you an equipment check off list to help you with your preparations for you hunt. I personally do as much of the guiding as possible throughout the hunting season. When we put you onto the game, the rest is up to you. For this reason I do not guarantee any kills. All hunting is Fair Chase.

Camps consist of big comfortable canvas wall tents with wood stoves, tables, and cots. There is also a cook tent, dining tent, and assorted gear tents. Miller Outfitting in Gillette specializes in antelope hunting, which is what makes us so successful. Our guides start scouting early using trail camera to identify the locations and patterns of the antelope. The hunting blinds are setup early to allow the antelope to get comfortable with them in their environment. Based upon current activity patterns, we place our hunters in strategically located blinds to ensure success. Our hunters have an average shot distance of only 20 yards. Miller Outfitting also offers deer and turkey hunting on a limited basis depending on populations and availability.

Wyoming, United States • Our hunts are far up the Big Grey's River. Located on the summer range of big bull elk and trophy mule deer, it is ideally placed for early hunts that begin about September 15th. From this camp we can hunt any of three big game management areas. Our camp is around 10,000 feet in altitude and is accessible by truck over forest roads. There is no tedious pack trip necessary to reach camp, so every day is a hunting day when you book with Jenkins Hunting Camp. Hunting big game can be demanding, if not exciting work. You need a comfortable place to relax at day's end. Therefore, I never book more hunters than I can handle. For mule deer hunts we have from 4 to 6 hunters in camp at one time. For elk hunts we have from 6 to 8 hunters in camp at one time. Ordinarily only two men are assigned to each tent. The tents have frames and wood floors.

Wyoming, United States • Mountain Lion hunting is one of our passions. We enjoy training our own hounds that we have raised and spent endless hours working with. The pursuit of these big cats can last for minutes, hours or days, depending on what kind of track the hounds have to work with. Our ten-day sheep hunt starts by packing a camp in with horses and mules. From there, we are mainly hunting by foot and using backpacks to transport gear to other camp destinations. We hunt Elk areas 96, 97, and 95, and have been typically harvesting bulls in the 280 to 340 inch range with an occasional bigger bull. With all three camps we can pretty much hunt the entire elk area 96. Base camps consist of wall tents with cots and propane heaters to provide as much comfort as possible. We have a 5-day wilderness Mule Deer hunts in region H where we are taking 160 to 180 inch bucks. This is a horseback hunt where you will be staying at one of our three base camps glassing for mature bucks at timberline.

Wyoming • Bobcats make a great combo hunt with mountain lions, or are a great trophy by themselves. We basically hunt them the same way we hunt lions. We offer this as a 5-day hunt from November 15th to the end of February. The license has to be applied for at the Wyoming Game & Fish Department in Cheyenne. There are restrictions for some states obtaining a license, so please give us a call and ask us about it.
