Elk
United States Outfitters, Inc
Trophy Class Private Ranch Bull Elk HuntsFrom $6,450 to $7,250
Grants • Want to make the Elk record books? Here is your best chance! There is nothing like hunting bulging bulls with a bow, up close and personal. Ask someone who has been there. As with any successful hunt, there are ingredients for that success. First, the private New Mexico Ranches; and second, the quality and knowledge of the guides you hunt with. It may sound like we're bragging - and we are - because we have the type of country and guides that deserve to be bragged about. Nothing else can explain United States Outfitters' ability to harvest more archery record-class bull elk each year than any other outfitter. Our overall success rate is around 30 to 35 percent on record-class bulls. Archery Elk Hunts are priced at $6,450, plus $634 Tag Fee. Rifle Bull Elk Hunts run as 5 day hunts beginning Oct. 1st thru Oct. 26th. Cost is $7250, plus $634 Tag Fee.
New Mexico HuntsFrom $1,450 to $5,200
New Mexico, United States • Public Land draw hunts and private land ranch hunts. Both hunts are excellent, basically equal in quality, and the success ratios are very high. RANCH HUNTS are more expensive but have guaranteed tags, no drawings are necessary. When you book a ranch hunt you are scheduling your hunt for a specific time and location. We set aside a permit with your name on it, which guarantees you a license. These hunts are more expensive because of the private land access fees from the landowner. The advantage is that you can plan your hunt in advance; this makes it easy to fit your schedule. PUBLIC LAND DRAW HUNTS are a great value. Since there is no landowner cost involved the hunts are usually about half the cost of a private land hunt. To increase your odds of getting a public land draw hunt, let us apply you to several states for various species. Before you know it you'll be on your hunt of a lifetime.
Fishtail Ranch
New Mexico Elk HuntsFrom $3,000 to $13,500
Tierra Amarilla • Fishtail Ranch hunts take place on private ranch land in Unit 4 Northern New Mexico, this means guaranteed licenses (NO DRAW REQUIRED) in a quality unit with one of the highest success rates in the state. Private land allows us to control both the number of hunters and the number of elk harvested, helping to maintain a quality elk herd. All hunts are conducted in a spot and stalk manner. You will be driven to the various hunting areas in 4 x 4 pickups and then continue on foot, accompanied by one of our experienced guides. All Guides live in the Chama area where they are able to observe the elk year round. This gives Fishtail Ranch Hunters the opportunity to benefit from each guides unique understanding of the elk movement and habits in the area. Every effort will be made to insure that both your hunt and accommodations meet or exceed your expectations. We strive to make this one of your most memorable hunting experiences
Southern Colorado Elk HuntsFrom $5,000 to $10,000
Colorado, United States • Just across the boarder in Southern Colorado Fishtail Ranch is outfitting Elk and Mule Deer Hunts in the Rio Grande National Forest units 80, 81 & 82. We pack you and your gear in by horseback 2 to 6 hours beyond the nearest vehicle access point, to hunt well beyond most of the public land hunters. Our camps are by special forest service permit and fully equipped for Archery, Muzzleloader and Rifle Seasons. Both draw and over the counter seasons are available.
