Rifle Bull Elk Hunts run as 5 day hunts beginning Oct. 1st thru Oct. 26th. Cost is $7250, plus $634 Tag Fee.

New Mexico HuntsFrom $1,450 to $5,200

New Mexico, United States • Public Land draw hunts and private land ranch hunts. Both hunts are excellent, basically equal in quality, and the success ratios are very high. RANCH HUNTS are more expensive but have guaranteed tags, no drawings are necessary. When you book a ranch hunt you are scheduling your hunt for a specific time and location. We set aside a permit with your name on it, which guarantees you a license. These hunts are more expensive because of the private land access fees from the landowner. The advantage is that you can plan your hunt in advance; this makes it easy to fit your schedule. PUBLIC LAND DRAW HUNTS are a great value. Since there is no landowner cost involved the hunts are usually about half the cost of a private land hunt. We pack you and your gear in by horseback 2 to 6 hours beyond the nearest vehicle access point, to hunt well beyond most of the public land hunters. Wolf Creek • MONTANA DEER & ELK COMBO-This hunt takes place on the Blacktail Ranch just outside of Wolf Creek, MT. The Blacktail Ranch is an 8,000-acre family-owned ranch located where the mountains meet the prairie, at the base of the East Front of the Continental Divide. We also have other adjoining ranches that we hunt. We have excellent mule deer hunts for bucks that average 22" to 24" with an occasional 26" to 28". We have several large ranches leased for these hunts. We also have some bird hunting on these same ranches for sharptails, pheasants, prairie chickens, and blue grouse. Antelope combination with Elk and Deer in archery season or in the first two weeks of rifle season. We hunt on several different ranches for Antelope. We have leased several great ranches for our whitetail hunters. These ranches have different accommodations. Anything from an old ranch house where the hunters cook for themselves to a modern lodge style with a cook.

Colorado • Steamboat Lake Outfitters is a year-round, full-time professional hunting and outfitting organization, specializing in fully guided Base Camp hunts, Zirkel wilderness hunts, or drop camps. The state of Colorado is divided into Game Management Units. Steamboat Lake Outfitters has Bureau of Land Management and United States Forest Service Permits that allow us to outfit on a number of different units. Game Management Units include GMU #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #14, #211, #214, #131, #201, #301, and #441. Summit County Outfitters is licensed and registered with the state of Colorado. Our hunting unit is located in Colorado GMU 371 and 37, which is an over the counter unit with exceptions for muzzle loader and first rifle seasons. The muzzle loading season will require you to draw for a tag in April and generally requires anywhere from none to two preference points.
